The Gospel Of Luke Week 4 English

Aug 30, 2026    Pastor Aaron

This fourth message in the series Good News Has Come teaches that Jesus is the promised Savior who enters the world according to God’s purposes, not human expectations. Drawing from Luke 2:1–21, the message follows Jesus’ birth in Bethlehem, the humble manger, and the angelic announcement to the shepherds. The passage reveals that God is sovereign over human history, working through ordinary and even inconvenient circumstances to fulfill His promises. Jesus comes not with worldly power or glamour, but in humility, demonstrating God’s grace in coming near to sinners. The shepherds remind us that the good news of Jesus is for all people and that it demands a response. Jesus is announced as Savior, Christ, and Lord—He rescues us from sin, fulfills God’s promises, and reigns with authority worthy of our worship and obedience. The message challenges believers to receive Jesus on His terms, trust Him as Savior, surrender to Him as Lord, and joyfully proclaim the good news. God has kept His promise, salvation has come near, and a Savior has been born, who is Christ the Lord.
